At the end of each class, two students who have shown excellent leadership with their attitude and participation are selected as the RockStars for the day. They announce their success by beating the Gathering Drums and receive a RockStar band.

Kindergarten
In Kindergarten it is important to establish routines and provide a feeling of security in the classroom. For many students, the music classroom can either look like an awesome indoor playground, or a scary world of new and different. PES Kinders have an established routine from day one. There are very simple and easy to remember rules to follow so each child can feel safe and comfortable as they learn and grow as little musicians. Each month I will publish a newsletter so you can see what we have been learning, and see some fun at-home music activities you can do with your child!
